You will learn the latest information on why and how things that connect to the internet need to be secured and protected. This presentation will cover: Computers (Windows and Mac), Tablets, Cell Phones and the IoT (Internet of Things). Join presenter Bob Gostischa as he explains the current dangers that face us on a daily basis. He'll also share what he uses to keep his computers, smart devices and other connected things that are a part of the IoT secure.

The next Hardware/Software SIG will be on Wednesday, February 7 at 1:30 pm.


General Meetings are held at the Patch Reef Park Community Center, 2000 West Yamato Road, (1/4 mile west of Military Trail), in Boca Raton on the fourth Thursday of each month from September through April (sometimes May).


We have been having our SIGs at Patch Reef Park, and we will continue to have SIG programs on the first Wednesday of the month at 1:30 pm (October through May) and on occasional second Mondays of the month throughout the year.
