Since 1983, members of the PC User Group of Boca Raton Florida, now the Boca Raton Computer Society, Inc., have been helping one another use and learn about computers. We have about 90 members, including computer professionals, business owners, home users, and novices. We welcome hundreds of users to our monthly meetings each year. This is a great opportunity for novices or advanced computer users to meet, and learn from others who share their interests. Non members are invited to attend our General Meeting.
(Open to the Public)
Starting in September, 2016, general meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton. Most meetings feature presentations by outside speakers as well as prominent local computer professionals.
Membership & Dues (U.S. mailing address only)
Membership dues renewals are currently suspended. New members are asked to pay a $25 initiation fee.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors meets on the second Monday of each month, at 7:00 p.m., at Patch Reef Park on Yamato Road, just west of Military Trail, in Boca Raton. Members are welcome to attend.
All members have access to our monthly newsletter, Boca Bits, and the right to attend General and SIG meetings.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are smaller meetings which explore a number of specific topics in greater depth, such as the "Freeware/Open Source SIG." Consult the Calendar for information.
